Accessibility services Sign language
For many people with a hearing impairment, sign language is their mother tongue. For them, written language is a foreign language. That’s why sign language is essential if they are to be able to use audiovisual media.
In brief Accessible communication with sign language
As the centre of excellence for SRG’s accessibility services, SWISS TXT also produces sign language videos for Swiss television (SRF, RTS, RSI).
Demand for sign language interpreting is also increasing among public institutions and businesses. Our internal infrastructure allows us to produce high-quality content efficiently and in a timely manner.
We integrate sign language into our services, for accessible communication with those with hearing impairments.
