In brief Audio description: Seeing with your ears.
Audio description is a technique of using words to describe what can be seen in an image.
Our specialists produce texts in succinct, clear language, so that they can fit into pauses in dialogue and noise. Descriptions are in our country’s official languages and in Swiss German.
More and more film-makers are opting to use audio description as well as subtitling in their films. Our audio description specialists can describe visually (acoustically) what is happening during the pauses in dialogue. It is therefore possible for blind and visually impaired people to experience films by means of words, making them inclusive.
Product video What is audio description?
When it comes to audio description, we specialise in Swiss German film productions as well as our country’s official languages (German, French and Italian) and English. We take care of everything required to make your films accessible in multiple languages – with audio description, subtitling and sign language.
An audio description is produced in three stages. Find out more in the product flyer. Depending on your requirements and budget, we’ll provide you with the service you need. We can support you with synthetic voices, human voices or professional speakers in our recording studio.

Additional service Spoken subtitles
We use subtitle files to add sound to individual sections of films which are spoken in a different language, for example. We can use either synthetic or original voices, and can translate text into multiple languages. This is how we can make an entire film accessible.
