SWISS TXT supported ADIS on its launch day

Am 21. November 2024 fand am Vormittag die Online-Fachtagung E-Accessibility statt, unter dem Patronat der ADIS. Und gleich im Anschluss wurde die neue Organisation im Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern offiziell eingeweiht. Bundesrätin Elisabeth Baume-Schneider hielt die Eröffnungsrede und führte den Tag der digitalen Inklusion ein. Dank LiveAccess konnten die Teilnehmer vor Ort die Reden in Deutsch und Französisch live mitverfolgen. Zu den Programmpunkten gehörten Präsentationen über die digitale Inklusion, das Netzwerken und Austauschen beim Apéro.

What is the Swiss Digital Inclusion Alliance (ADIS)? 

The E-Accessibility online symposium took place on the morning of 21 November under the auspices of ADIS. Straight afterwards, the new organisation was officially inaugurated at the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern. Federal Councillor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider gave the inaugural address and introduced the Digital Inclusion Day. Thanks to LiveAccess, participants on site were able to watch the talks live in German and French. The programme included presentations on digital inclusion and opportunities to continue the discussion and network over drinks and refreshments.

First National Digital Inclusion Day

Digital Inclusion Day will be marked every year on 21 November. Over 20% of the Swiss population has no or minimal digital literacy. The aim of this day is to raise awareness of the problem, to promote collaboration to close the digital gap, and to ensure a fairer and more inclusive digital future.
