Innovation Innosuisse IICT
The aim of the “Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies” (IICT) innovation project is to develop information and communication technologies (ICT) that provide accessibility services to people with disabilities. The goal is to create a computer-assisted mode of working for processes that to date have been performed exclusively by humans, and to fully automate processes that until now are only partly-automated.
In brief Innosuisse IICT
The flagship is to lead to innovations by means of a user-centred approach, which support not only people with hearing, visual and cognitive impairments, but also hearing learners of sign language, and thereby emphasise the aspect of accessibility as a bidirectional concept. The flagship’s approach is a participatory one. People with disabilities are involved in all stages of the research and development cycle.
